Technician responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing Lexus vehicles, maintaining high customer satisfaction and meeting productivity and efficiency numbers. Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts, inform team leader if vehicle is awaiting parts and pursue special order of parts if necessary
• Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair, if authorized by customer
• Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty or if requested by customer
• Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required
• Notify service consultants immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is   not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised
• Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order using the concern, cause and correction format
• Road-test vehicles to check work performed
• Ensure that customer vehicles are returned to them as clean as they were prior to being serviced
• Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins
• Attend factory sponsored training classes
• Keep shop area neat clean and be able to account for all dealership owned tools at all times
• Understand and follow federal, state and locate regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous waste
• Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the company’s vision, mission and values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and suppliers
• Adheres to all company policies, procedures and safety standards
• Follow company safety procedures to avoid exposure to fumes, dirt and harsh chemicals
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

Our quality car wash and detail shop has position for a car wash attendant/auto detailer. Experienced or we will train. Must be at least 18 years of age, must have a good driving record and must be able to pass our drug test and background check. Must be available to work Monday through Saturday.

This is a customer service position and candidate must have a positive customer service attitude.
Car washing involves standing and bending for long periods of time.
Most cleaning is done in the shade.

Lexus of Nashville is seeking team members for the position of Service Valet to provide a personal vehicle parking and retrieval service for the dealership while offering a truly outstanding guest experience.  To accommodate the fast-paced environment of dealership operations, valets operate with quick "hustle” and in a professional, friendly and efficient manner.

Responsibilities (others may be assigned):

· Maintain strict adherence to dealership policy on client vehicle care and operation

· Greet guests upon arrival

· Explain check-in procedures

· Escort guests to appropriate service advisor

· Park vehicles in designated areas and secure

· Retrieve vehicles as necessary

· Notify appropriate personnel of waiting guest

· Maintain accessibility and appearance of service drive

· Assist guests with of transfer of goods and packages between vehicles

· Provide additional information to guests

· Coordinate work with team members

Greet guests in timely, friendly manner

• Ascertain automotive problems and services by listening to guests' description of symptoms, clarifying problems, checking vehicle maintenance records and/or examining service schedules.
• Advise customers on the care of their vehicle and the value of maintaining its condition in accordance with manufacturers’ specifications.
• Prepare repair orders (RO) by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required. Enter RO into service database system.
• Maintain customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected return of vehicle. Manage delivery of required repair action by successfully explaining requirements and setting and managing guest expectations.
• Monitor progress of repairs and communicate with guest regarding any changes in the estimate or delivery time, explains cost and time requirements in detail, and obtain proper authorization before additional work is performed.
• Maintain guest’s automotive records by recording problems and corrective actions planned.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
• Accepts accountability for delivering outstanding level of customer service.
• Maintain expected Customer Satisfaction Index
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

• Previous experience in a dealership required (luxury experience is preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent
